Physician Coding Liaison - Remote

Overview

The Physician Coding Liaison at Ensemble is responsible for coordinating physician communications, education, and expertise for the PRC Coding team, ensuring effective information exchange and providing expert guidance on coding-related matters.

• Coordinate physician communications between the PRC Coding team and physicians.
• Provide education and training on specialty-specific coding guidelines.
• Conduct coder communications reviews for accuracy and compliance.
• Perform root cause analysis to identify coding trends and opportunities.
• Support and lead coding improvement projects.
• Execute special coding projects as assigned by leadership.
• Maintain production coding to meet KPIs.
• 5+ years of medical coding experience required.
• Experience in Dermatology, Cardiology, Ortho, OT/PT, and General Surgery preferred.
• Flexibility to travel 20-40% to client sites.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Health Information Management or equivalent experience.
• Current professional certifications (CPC, CPMA, CCS, etc.) required.
• Strong knowledge of coding guidelines and regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
