The Director, Coding – Cardiology provides strategic and operational leadership for cardiology coding functions, ensuring accurate, compliant, and timely coding across complex cardiovascular services.

Requirements

• CCVTC and CIRCC certifications required.
• Extensive experience in cardiology and cardiovascular coding.
• Previous leadership experience in coding or revenue cycle environments.
• Strong knowledge of CPT, ICD-10-CM/PCS, and payer-specific guidelines.
• Proven ability to manage performance and drive operational excellence.
• Familiarity with EHR and encoder systems preferred.
• Experience supporting large health systems is a plus.
• Background in coding audits and compliance programs preferred.
