Overview

The Physician Coding Liaison I is responsible for providing coding education and support to physicians and advanced practice clinicians, ensuring compliance with coding standards and regulations.

  • Requires 4 years of coding experience and 1 year in education.

Requirements

  • Coding Associate (CCA) or similar certification required.
  • Advanced training in Medical Coding Specialist.
  • 4 years of coding experience, with 1 year in clinician education.
  • Strong understanding of medical terminology and anatomy.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic coding systems.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent critical thinking and analytical skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups.
  • Experience with virtual and in-person training.
