Overview

The Coder II PT/OT position involves reviewing medical documentation to assign diagnosis and procedure codes, ensuring compliance with coding guidelines and regulations.

Requirements

• 3 years of experience in professional coding.
• Advanced training in Medical Coding or related field.
• Coding certification from AAPC or AHIMA.
• Intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Strong communication and analytical skills.
• Ability to work under deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
• Ability to exercise independent judgment.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills.
