The Director of Engineering is a hands-on technical leader responsible for strategic leadership and active software development, focusing on the Python and Ruby ecosystems.

• Maintain an active coding role across Python and Ruby projects.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in technology roles, with at least 5 years in senior technical leadership.
• Actively coding, with recent hands-on development in Python or Ruby on Rails.
• Proven ability to balance technical execution and leadership responsibilities.
• Extensive experience with PostgreSQL and large-scale database architecture.
• In-depth understanding of software development best practices, including testing and code reviews.
• Familiarity with cloud technologies and infrastructure management.
• Strong project management and multitasking skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
