Team Lead Capital Assets - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a Team Lead Capital Assets who will ensure accuracy and completeness of Capital Assets reporting deliverable for external, regulatory and audit purposes while assisting in the management of capitalization and internal policies and processes.

In Short

• Lead a small team of finance professionals.
• Prepare and review quarterly footnotes and capital asset schedules for financial reporting.
• Perform ad-hoc reporting on capital assets as needed.
• Develop system solutions to streamline reporting requirements.
• Collaborate with other Capital Assets teams for financial preparation support.
• Maintain understanding of Enbridge’s legal entity and structure.
• Independently assess and resolve complex issues encountered in job duties.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
• Provide training for stakeholders on capitalization processes.
• Contribute to a diverse team that values safety, integrity, and inclusion.

Requirements

• CPA or similar professional designation.
• Post-Secondary education in Finance with emphasis in Accounting.
• 6+ years of experience in an accounting environment.
• Advanced knowledge of US GAAP accounting for capital assets.
• FERC reporting experience desired but not required.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
• In-depth Excel and accounting system skills (Oracle, SAP, etc.).
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
