Overview

As a Business Development Manager, you will play a key role in shaping the commercial strategy and driving growth within the clinical trials landscape.

In Short

  • Responsible for driving new business growth across existing and new customers.
  • Open doors with new customers and develop strong pipelines.
  • Own lead generation and closed-won targets.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to unlock new opportunities.
  • Be part of a global commercial team.
  • Operate remotely or from offices in Leiden, Atlanta, and Singapore.
  • Regular travel required.
  • Proactive and results-driven with a strong professional network.
  • Set ambitious goals and take ownership of outcomes.
  • Fluent in English.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of business development experience, preferably in a Pharmaceutical company, CRO, or Central Laboratory.
  • Strong commercial mindset with proven ability to generate leads and close deals.
  • Excellent networking skills.
  • Solid understanding of Good Clinical Practice (GCP).
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 is a plus.
