Overview

The Sales Development Representative (SDR) is responsible for driving top-of-funnel pipeline growth by proactively identifying, qualifying, and generating interest in EMS|MC’s solutions among prospective clients. This role focuses on outbound and inbound lead generation, initial discovery, and setting qualified meetings for the sales team. The SDR plays a critical role in building early relationships with prospective municipal, county, and health system stakeholders by educating them on EMS|MC’s value proposition and positioning the company as a trusted partner. This is a highly proactive, results-driven role requiring strong communication skills, persistence, and disciplined follow-up.

  • Generate new sales opportunities through outbound prospecting.
  • Qualify inbound and outbound leads.
  • Execute daily outreach to meet or exceed goals.

  • Maintain accurate documentation in CRM.
  • Collaborate with Business Development and Marketing teams.
  • Support marketing campaigns and initiatives.
  • Participate in ongoing training and company events.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
  • 1–3+ years in a sales development or lead generation role.
  • Experience with outbound prospecting in a high-volume environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Experience with CRM systems.
  • Integrity and accountability in a results-oriented mindset.
  • Proficiency in English for job-related communication.
