Retirement Plan Counselor - Northern CA - Remote

Overview

The Retirement Plan Counselor is responsible for delivering on-site and virtual education and enrollment presentations to new and existing defined contribution plan participants, helping them achieve financial freedom while leveraging Empower’s technology.

In Short

• Deliver education and enrollment presentations for retirement plans.
• Utilize technology to drive positive retirement outcomes.
• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
• Conduct one-on-one and group meetings both virtually and on-site.
• Achieve business results while meeting service level agreements.
• Log meetings and outcomes in appropriate systems.
• Manage meeting schedules and travel logistics.
• Participate in client meetings and presentations.
• Must be fluent in Spanish.
• Reside in the San Francisco Bay area, Sacramento, or Modesto.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 2 – 4 years of relevant financial services experience.
• Strong presentation and relationship-building skills.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
• FINRA Series 6 and Series 63 registrations required.
• Bilingual in Spanish.
• Knowledge of Salesforce preferred.
• Ability to calculate financial figures required.
• Strategic thinker who can work independently.
• Basic knowledge of defined contribution plans preferred.
