Retirement Plan Consultant Combo Plans - Remote

Overview

The Retirement Plan Consultant (RPC) Combo Plans will be responsible for the day-to-day management of an assigned caseload of Defined Benefit/Cash Balance/401(k) Combo Plans, ensuring compliance and delivering exceptional client service.

In Short

• Manage a caseload of 130-150 combination plans.
• Interpret and apply plan document provisions.
• Ensure compliance with DOL and IRS requirements.
• Prepare and review 401(k) Plan Trust Accounting.
• Conduct annual compliance testing for clients.
• Prepare and file Form 5500 and related schedules.
• Collaborate with Actuarial Analyst and Consulting Actuary.
• Utilize Microsoft Office applications effectively.
• Communicate excellently in written and verbal forms.
• Possess strong organizational and detail-oriented skills.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience in 401(k) Plan Compliance testing.
• 3+ years of retirement industry experience.
• Familiarity with ASC software or equivalent.
• Willingness to obtain ASPPA QKA designation.
• Broad knowledge of the retirement plan industry.
• Strong understanding of plan documents and lifecycle.
• Ability to work remotely and build rapport.
• Access to reliable high-speed internet.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Teams and SharePoint.
