In Short

• Join the Canadian Product Team as a Product Owner focusing on payroll.
• Guide a payroll-focused squad through the development of complex features.
• Work closely with engineers, designers, and marketers to deliver mission-critical initiatives.
• Be responsible for product delivery, backlog grooming, and sprint planning.
• Define the scope of development for new product features and enhancements.
• Write and prioritize epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Leverage analytical ability to inform product direction.
• Track progress, assess risks, and communicate plans to the team.
• Conduct research and business analyses for opportunities and risks.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to maintain high credibility.

Requirements

• 3-7 years of Product Owner experience with a SaaS product, specifically payroll.
• Strong understanding of APIs and testing methodologies.
• Ability to create wireframes, prototypes, and user flows.
• Detail-oriented with high standards for quality in documentation.
• Experience using agile methodologies with distributed teams.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Knowledge of financial and accounting math.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.
