Payroll Officer - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a highly ambitious payroll officer to join our finance team in this newly created role. As a Payroll Officer overseeing Employment Hero’s internal + Global Teams payroll across multiple geographies, you play a pivotal role in ensuring accurate and compliant payroll processing on an international scale.

In Short

• Prepare payroll reports and analysis for internal + Global team employees (AU, NZ, UK).
• Work with outsourced payroll providers and EORs.
• Navigate payroll processes across different countries.
• Review WFH expenses.
• Ensure timely payroll filings and obligations.
• Serve as primary point of contact for payroll matters.
• Prepare monthly payroll reconciliations.
• Assist with cashflow forecasting.
• Assist with external audits.
• Propose process improvements.

Requirements

• 4+ years experience in a similar role.
• Experience running payroll in Australia, New Zealand, and the UK.
• Intermediate to Advanced experience with Excel/Google Sheets.
• KeyPay experience essential.
