Payroll Officer and Accounts Payable - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Accounts Payable (AP) and Payroll Officer to manage the AP and payroll functions for our Australian operations. This role is critical in ensuring accurate, efficient processes that comply with Australian regulations, including GST, PAYG withholding, Superannuation, and leave entitlements.

In Short

• Process end-to-end payroll for Australian employees.
• Calculate and withhold PAYG taxes and superannuation contributions.
• Administer employee leave entitlements.
• Handle payroll queries and resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare and submit Single Touch Payroll (STP) reports.
• Process and manage supplier invoices.
• Prepare and execute payment runs.
• Reconcile accounts payable balances.
• Ensure compliance with Australian GST rules.
• Identify and implement process improvements.
