This role

As our HR Customer Support Consultant, you’ll work closely with our Support, Payroll, and Product teams to ensure customers receive an exceptional post-implementation experience. You’ll act as a trusted advisor and systems expert, helping customers resolve queries and get the most from their Employment Hero platform — all while helping us accelerate toward our BHAG.

Your key focus areas will be:

  • Delivering responsive and knowledgeable post-go-live support
  • Acting as a trusted advisor across HR and payroll topics
  • Supporting issue resolution, stakeholder engagement, and internal improvements
  • Contributing to internal knowledge and process improvement

This will include:

  • Providing support and functional systems administration post-implementation
  • Walking clients through updates, troubleshooting (e.g. pension setup, platform config)
  • Managing HR and payroll escalations across client and internal support teams
  • Running internal workshops and supporting post-mortems as needed
  • Managing inbound queries via phone, chat, email and video calls
  • Identifying knowledge gaps and contributing to customer documentation
  • Proactively managing customer sentiment, response quality and satisfaction scores
  • Gathering and communicating product requirements to the product team
  • Collaborating cross-functionally to drive support and delivery improvements
  • Mentoring and providing support to team members as a subject matter expert

Who you are

To thrive at Employment Hero, you’ll need to embody The EH Way – operating with focus, agility, and an obsession with impact. For this role, you’ll also bring:

  • 3–5 years of experience in client-facing roles (ideally in HR or payroll)
  • Experience administering and supporting HRIS and/or payroll systems
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment legislation and HR/payroll standards
  • Experience creating or maintaining customer-facing content
  • A confident, engaging communicator who builds strong client relationships
  • Strong time management, organisation, and prioritisation skills
  • A proactive, customer-first attitude with a problem-solving mindset
