Overview

As a Customer Service Representative at U-Haul, you will be the face of the company, assisting customers with their needs and ensuring a smooth rental experience while working within a supportive team.

In Short

  • Assist customers inside and outside a U-Haul center.
  • Use smartphone-based U-Scan technology for rentals.
  • Maintain and inspect equipment on the lot.
  • Answer customer questions about products and services.
  • Prepare rental invoices and manage returns.
  • Install hitches and trailer wiring.
  • Drive a forklift (certification provided).
  • Participate in ongoing training through U-Haul University.
  • Physical demands include moving equipment and long periods of standing.
  • Work in a safe environment with special precautions.

Requirements

  • Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to handle physical tasks involving lifting and moving.
  • Willingness to participate in safety training and certifications.
  • Must be able to work as part of a team.
  • Customer-focused mindset.
  • Ability to learn and use technology effectively.
