Overview

As a Customer Service Representative at U-Haul, you will be the face of the company, assisting customers with their needs and ensuring exceptional service while managing equipment.

In Short

• Assist customers inside and outside a U-Haul center.
• Use smartphone-based technology to manage rentals.
• Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers.
• Inspect and clean equipment, checking fluid levels.
• Prepare rental invoices and accept returned equipment.
• Install hitches and trailer wiring.
• Fill propane (certification provided upon employment).
• Drive a forklift (certification provided upon employment).
• Participate in ongoing education through U-Haul University.
• Work in a moderately risky environment requiring safety precautions.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to handle physical demands such as lifting 50 lbs.
• Willingness to work around moving parts and chemicals.
• Commitment to a healthy work environment, nicotine-free.
