Overview

As a Customer Service Representative at U-Haul, you will be the face of the company, assisting customers with their needs while ensuring equipment is maintained and inspected.

In Short

• Assist customers inside and outside a U-Haul center
• Use smartphone-based U-Scan technology
• Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers
• Clean and inspect equipment
• Answer customer questions and educate them
• Prepare rental invoices
• Participate in ongoing education through U-Haul University
• Drive a forklift (certification provided)
• Install hitches and trailer wiring
• Work in a team-oriented environment

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license and good driving record
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to work in a moderately risky environment
• Physical ability to lift equipment weighing a minimum of 50 lbs.
• Willingness to participate in safety training
• Strong communication skills
