Area Field Manager - Remote

Overview

The Area Field Manager is responsible for promoting the U-Haul brand and managing relationships with independent business partners to grow the dealership organization.

In Short

• Promote U-Haul brand and educate partners.
• Manage business relationships with small business owners.
• Analyze profit and loss for route management.
• Service and maintain U-Haul equipment.
• Operate a service vehicle for equipment distribution.
• Perform minor repairs on U-Haul equipment.
• Participate in ongoing education through U-Haul University.
• Work in a moderate risk environment requiring safety precautions.
• Physical exertion required, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and good driving record.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to obtain a D.O.T. health certificate.
• Experience in business development or sales preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Basic mechanical skills for equipment maintenance.
• Commitment to a healthy work environment, nicotine-free.
• Must be able to work in various physical environments.
• Willingness to travel within designated route.
