Overview

The Payment Operations Manager at EverHealth is responsible for overseeing the operational health of the payments function, ensuring smooth payment processes, managing escalations, and coordinating cross-functional teams.

• Own PayOps escalation management and serve as the primary contact for payment issues.
• Lead the merchant rate review processes and manage stakeholder communications.
• Execute updates to payment systems and workflows.
• Resolve complex payments-related support tickets.
• Maintain operational continuity through process monitoring and exception handling.
• Document operational activities and decisions for reliability.
• Identify patterns in escalations and support tickets for process improvement.
• Support onboarding and activation operational tasks.
• Collaborate with Customer Success, Support, and Implementation teams.
• Work remotely within the United States.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Finance, or related field.
• 2-4 years of experience in payments operations, fintech, or SaaS customer operations.
• Hands-on experience with payments systems and workflows.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience managing escalations with urgency and clear communication.
• Proficiency with Salesforce or similar CRM tools.
• High attention to detail and strong documentation skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Collaborative and service-oriented mindset.
• Able to manage multiple issues and tasks simultaneously.
