MHM Lead Engineer - Remote

Overview

Emerson is seeking a Systems & Instrumentation professional for the role of MHM Lead Engineer, part of the core RS engineering team, responsible for project engineering, configurations, commissioning, and solving Emerson RS Systems Hardware & Software issues across various industries.

In Short

• Responsible for subject area design activities.
• Manage project budget and schedule.
• Supervise a team of 3 resources.
• Ensure project engineering work meets requirements and quality standards.
• Participate in Staging, Pre-FAT, FAT, and i-FAT activities.
• Install, commission, and troubleshoot Emerson’s Reliability Solution systems.
• Conduct software configuration activities.
• Provide technical assistance to collaborators.
• Engage with internal and external partners for project solutions.
• Participate in reviews with stakeholders for improvement opportunities.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in manufacturing or systems engineering.
• Understanding of communication protocols (OPC/Modbus) and field instrumentation.
• Knowledge of networking protocols.
• Electronics/mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Negotiation skills and ability to collaborate with partners.
• Ability to lead change and align new concepts through perseverance.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Team player with positive relations.
