Senior Configuration Engineer - Remote

Overview

The Senior Configuration Engineer is responsible for configuring applications to meet the requirements set by Implementation Specialists and Consultants, ensuring optimal solutions and maintaining quality standards.

In Short

• Understand business requirements to create optimal solutions.
• Configure products to meet complex customer needs using various technologies.
• Collaborate with project managers and customers to meet SLAs.
• Mentor analysts and assist with solution design and troubleshooting.
• Conduct peer reviews to ensure quality of configuration work.
• Provide excellent customer service via phone, email, and Salesforce.
• Test configurations to ensure they meet original requests.
• Proactively update project managers and follow up with customers.
• Act as a technical resource for training and troubleshooting.
• Identify areas for improvement in internal business processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3 years’ experience in customer service or related role.
• 3+ years’ experience with Object Oriented Java.
• 3+ years’ experience in SQL in a Production environment.
• 2+ years’ experience with Java, Python, JSON.
• Knowledge of enterprise-level financial applications.
• Experience using Salesforce.
