Overview

Egnyte is seeking a driven and resourceful State and Local Account Executive to champion our secure, unified platform within the U.S. government landscape, ensuring the success of Egnyte's State and Local initiatives and driving revenue growth.

In Short

  • Identify and qualify high-potential leads within assigned State and Local agencies.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to drive revenue growth.
  • Educate decision-makers on Egnyte's platform and its value proposition.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to tailor solutions for agency needs.
  • Manage the sales cycle from initial contact through contract award.
  • Work with Partners serving the State and Local space.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Stay informed about State and Local IT trends and regulations.
  • Contribute to Egnyte's State and Local sales strategy.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in State and Local IT, focused on cybersecurity or collaboration solutions.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets.
  • Expert in navigating state and local procurement processes.
  • Deep understanding of data security needs of U.S. government agencies.
  • Exceptional presentation and negotiation abilities.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage territory and pipeline.
  • Passionate advocate for Egnyte's solutions.
  • Experience working with Partners in the State and Local space.
