In Short

• Play a key role in developing, improving and maintaining our Essential Assessment software platform
• Deliver high quality code across projects, tasks and bug fixes, working to specification and using sound judgment to solve problems independently
• Collaborate closely with engineers and the wider team to build a strong understanding of the platforms history and architecture
• Bring your experience and ideas to the table to drive ongoing technical enhancements and innovation
• Ensure all software meets our standards for quality, security, maintainability, reliability and scalability
• Conduct thorough testing, both automated and manual, to ensure performance and stability
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently and effectively
• Create clear, concise technical documentation for reference, reporting and team knowledge sharing
• Contribute to a supportive, inclusive and positive team culture where everyone can thrive

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional experience working with PHP and MySQL
• Experience with legacy systems, jQuery, AWS and accessibility best practices is a plus
• Strong attention to detail, with a genuine focus on quality and craftsmanship
• Demonstrated ability to deliver high quality work in an agile, fast-moving environment
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to working with cross functional teams
• A reliable, professional and trusted team member who takes pride in their work
