In Short

• Design, develop, and test high quality software systems using Python and Kotlin.
• Create tools and libraries that provide foundational functionality for the web application.
• Maintain and improve test, build, and release pipelines.
• Provide guidance on core application architectural decisions.
• Work with engineers across the organization on project definition and delivery.
• Integrate Affirm’s systems with third-party solutions.
• Provide support on software system questions.
• Debug code issues utilizing data and stack trace analysis.
• May telecommute.
• Position requires 5% travel to various worksites nationally and internationally.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field or one year of experience.
• Experience in software application development.
• Proficiency in Kotlin and Python.
• Experience with MySQL and Flask.
• Knowledge of software engineering best practices.
• Utilization of modern testing frameworks.
• Experience in debugging code issues.
• Familiarity with service oriented architecture design.
