Principal Support Engineer - Remote

Overview

As a Principal Support Engineer, you will be part of a remote Support Services team, responsible for maintaining and managing Postgres databases while providing guidance and support to clients.

• Mentor junior and mid-level technical support engineers.
• Create detailed technical documentation and runbooks.
• Facilitate knowledge transfer sessions for technical support.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience, with 7+ years in Data Warehouse solutions.
• In-depth knowledge of Greenplum and big data frameworks.
• Strong understanding of Kubernetes architecture.
• Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus and Grafana.
• 2+ years of scripting experience with Python, Bash, and YAML.
• 2+ years of programming experience with C, C++, Java, or .NET.
• Experience in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Red Hat OpenShift.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and good communication abilities.
• Flexibility to work in shifts and on weekends if required.
