Solutions Architect - MPP Analytics Platform - Remote

Overview

We're looking for an experienced and hands-on Solutions Architect to lead the design, planning, and deployment of WarehousePG—a modern Massively Parallel Processing (MPP) analytics platform built on the Greenplum engine. You'll empower enterprise customers to build high-performance, scalable architectures that support advanced analytics, vector search, and AI/ML workloads.

In Short

• Design and document robust solution architectures for WarehousePG.
• Define best practices for high-performance computing and workload management.
• Lead architecture workshops with customers to understand their business requirements.
• Provide expert guidance on query optimization and data distribution.
• Enable in-database ML using PL/Python and MADlib.
• Leverage experience with legacy platforms for migrations.
• Deliver comprehensive architecture diagrams and runbooks.
• Coordinate collaboration between pre-sales and engineering teams.
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders and clients.
• Influence technical discussions with internal and external teams.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience with large-scale data warehousing.
• Deep expertise with Greenplum and MPP architecture.
• Strong background in Netezza, Vertica, or Teradata.
• Proficiency in Linux, PostgreSQL, and scripting.
• Knowledge of observability stacks like Grafana.
• Experience with HA/DR design.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to build trusted relationships with clients.
• Attention to detail and focus on quality solutions.
