Onboarding Associate - Remote

Overview

Join our team as an Onboarding Specialist and play a key role in creating a smooth and welcoming hiring experience. You'll support the administrative side of the hiring process—particularly for Direct Support Professionals—by coordinating hiring documents, conducting background checks, and ensuring all pre-employment requirements are met.

In Short

• Collaborate with recruiters for a smooth hiring process.
• Update Applicant Tracking System (SmartRecruiters).
• Send background check packets to candidates.
• Ensure onboarding paperwork is completed on time.
• Conduct pre-employment checks.
• Send onboarding links and welcome letters.
• Distribute attendance roster for New Staff Orientation.
• Create and maintain personnel and licensing files.
• Initiate HR workflows post-onboarding.
• Stay informed on employment laws and licensing requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or 2-4 years of HR/onboarding experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong computer skills (HRIS, ATS, Excel).
• Organized and thorough with onboarding processes.
