Employment Support Specialist (Job Coach) - Remote

Overview

The Employment Support Specialist will provide one-on-one support to individuals with disabilities as they explore, secure, and succeed in competitive, integrated employment.

In Short

• Meet clients in their homes and community to build trust and connection.
• Conduct career assessments focusing on individual strengths, skills, and interests.
• Help develop or revise resumes, practice interviews, and identify job leads.
• Support onboarding and training with new employers.
• Provide ongoing coaching to promote job retention and personal growth.
• Attend team meetings, write progress reports, and maintain clear communication.
• Create a positive, lasting impact—one job, one goal, one success at a time.

Requirements

• 2-year degree or equivalent experience in human services, mental health, or disability support.
• Experience in teaching, coaching, or mentoring roles.
• Knowledge of job markets and the hiring process.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Strong comfort with technology.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and current auto insurance.
