Analytics Engineer - Remote

We’re a collaborative multi-chain analytics platform used by thousands of developers, analysts, & investors to understand the on-chain world and the frontiers of finance. We’re a team of ~55 employees, working together across Europe and eastern US timezones 🌍️. We believe in our mission, and in building a powerful, open product that allows individuals and communities to do deep research into important ecosystems like Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, and many more.

In Short

• Design, implement, and maintain SQL-based curated models that standardize on-chain concepts across chains and protocols.
• Extend existing curated datasets with new entities, metrics, and dimensions.
• Create new data models for additional blockchains.
• Reverse-engineer smart contracts to determine what to extract and how to model it.
• Work with transformation frameworks (dbt or SQLMesh) to orchestrate changes.
• Partner with engineers to ensure reliable and documented data pipelines.
• Manage community data contributions through public channels.
• Collaborate with product teams to ensure user value from curated models.

Requirements

• Exceptional blockchain data knowledge.
• Hands-on understanding of smart contracts.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with analytical models.
• Interest in optimizing queries.
• Experience with data transformation tools like dbt or SQLMesh.
• A builder’s mindset to navigate blockchain protocols.
