Test Engineer - Remote

Overview

The Test Engineering role is responsible for ensuring that all applications, system products, projects, and solutions meet defined enterprise quality standards. Provide centralized, independent quality assurance services across the firm, including functional and non-functional testing for all products, services, and applications across businesses.

In Short

• Prepare, maintain and complete manual test cases based on user stories.
• Prepare, maintain, and complete automated test scripts.
• Maintain traceability from business requirements through test cases to automated scripts.
• Review test cases / automation approach with customer.
• Track test execution milestones and report on issues.
• Lead and mentor a team of test engineers.
• Construct appropriate end-2-end business scenarios.
• Collaborate with delivery pipeline teams.
• Identify dependencies for environmental and data requirements.
• Develop a detailed understanding of the product being delivered.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 3+ years of related experience.
• Hands on experience in API/XML Testing and Selenium with Java.
• Extensive experience with testing modern scripting language-based components.
• Experience in writing SQL queries.
• Experience with JIRA, Microfocus ALM, Bitbucket, Git, and Jenkins.
• Experience with front-end & backend testing using Java and Selenium.
• Experienced in Agile/Waterfall methodologies.
• In depth knowledge of the software implementation lifecycle.
• Detailed understanding of smoke testing and regression testing.
