Test Engineer - Remote

Overview

The Test Engineering role is responsible for ensuring that all applications, system products, projects, and solutions meet defined enterprise quality standards. Provide centralized, independent quality assurance services across the firm, including functional and non-functional testing for all products, services, and applications across businesses.

In Short

• Prepare, maintain, and implement test cases based on user stories.
• Prepare, maintain, and implement automated test scripts.
• Maintain traceability from business requirements through test cases to automated scripts.
• Review test cases / automation approach with collaborator.
• Track test execution milestones and report on issues.
• Collaborate with delivery pipeline teams.
• Identify dependencies for environmental and data requirements.
• Provide guidance to colleagues related to test coverage.
• Develop a detailed understanding of the product being delivered.
• Responsible for process compliance & associated documentation.

Requirements

• Minimum of 06+ years of related experience.
• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• Experience in Mainframe Application testing.
• Experience in Selenium Java.
• Experience in API testing frameworks using Postman.
• Experience in writing sophisticated SQL queries.
• Experience with JIRA, Microfocus ALM, Bitbucket, Git, and Jenkins.
• Experienced in Agile/Waterfall methodologies.
• In-depth knowledge of the software implementation lifecycle.
• Experience with Agile methodology.
