Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) - Remote

Overview

The SDET role specializes in the development of capabilities and code to automate testing of the product or system under test. You will be part of a business-aligned development squad that specializes in building, improving, and maintaining custom software and solutions supporting the business.

In Short

• Design, develop, and implement automated tests to ensure the quality of software products.
• Work to understand software requirements and identify, resolve defects.
• Implement and maintain continuous integration and continuous delivery (CICD) processes.
• Diagnose and remediate software defects.
• Stay updated with new software testing methodologies, tools, and technologies.
• Responsible for system integration testing, including automation.
• Review requirements and design artifacts, developing extensive test coverage.
• Responsible for Project Coordination and Technical Management tasks.
• Play an active role in translating business and functional requirements into concrete results.
• Establish expertise in the business areas, systems, and platforms being supported.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience with automated unit and integration testing.
• Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks and tools.
• Strong experience with automated testing and test-driven development.
• Knowledge of software testing methodologies and techniques.
• Expert in backend test automation using Rest Assured/Karate for API testing.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (Java, Python, C#).
• Experience in writing sophisticated SQL queries.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong partnership and collaboration skills.
