Overview

As a Java Application Developer at DTCC, you will work on innovative projects, collaborate with a dynamic team, and contribute to the modernization of security masterfile applications while ensuring governance and risk management.

In Short

• Assist in technology selection for modernization projects.
• Perform business and technical presentations related to technology platforms.
• Work with Infrastructure partners to establish development and production environments.
• Ensure non-functional requirements are complete and appropriate.
• Support data modeling and restructuring between legacy and modernized systems.
• Design frameworks that promote isolation and extensibility.
• Mitigate risks by following established procedures.
• Propose solutions that satisfy performance requirements.
• Develop and maintain system documentation.
• Engage in activities to support the broader organization.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in technical/computer discipline or related experience.
• 8+ years experience in Java application development.
• 5+ years experience with Oracle RDBMS and SQL development.
• Experience with Unix/Linux environments.
• Familiarity with IntelliJ/Eclipse, Git, Maven, Jenkins.
• Experience with RESTful API development.
• Strong communication skills.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently or in a team.
• Experience with Python and Angular is preferred.
