Application Developer - Remote

Overview

As an Application Developer at DTCC, you will work on innovative projects, collaborate with a dynamic team, and receive investment in your professional development while making a significant impact in the financial markets.

In Short

• Provide technical expertise and coordinate day-to-day deliverables.
• Assist in the technical design of large business systems.
• Build applications and interfaces between applications.
• Research technologies independently and recommend solutions.
• Contribute to technology-specific best practices and standards.
• Support team in managing client expectations and resolving issues.
• Implement solutions and complete test plans.
• Establish and maintain system documentation.
• Work with Infrastructure partners for environment setup.
• Participate in Agile methodologies for project delivery.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of related experience.
• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years' experience in application development or system analysis.
• Strong proficiency in Java-based distributed applications.
• Experience with automated unit test cases using JUnit or Mockito.
• Familiarity with database concepts and SQL.
• Experience with CI/CD pipeline tooling.
• Positive attitude and desire to learn.
