Overview

As a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) on the Connectors Platform team at Dash, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of AI-powered products at Dropbox. We are seeking a talented and driven SDET to help build seamless, scalable, and high-impact products that directly support our most critical initiatives. As a member of the Dash SDET team, you will lead the development of robust automation frameworks and testing strategies that uphold the highest standards of quality. Your work will ensure the reliability, speed, and security of our Connectors Platform, while establishing key metrics to track and maintain user trust and system performance.

  • Design and implement robust, scalable, high-quality test automation solutions.
  • Deliver ongoing business impact through ownership of product capabilities or technical systems.
  • Lead the development of Test Strategies, Test processes, and Quality Metrics.
  • Collaborate closely with developers, product management, and cross-functional agile teams.
  • Identify and communicate risks about our releases.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of engineering experience with 4+ years in building automation frameworks.
  • BS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
  • Extensive experience developing test automation for software applications.
  • Expertise with Playwright, Selenium, and other end-to-end test automation frameworks.
  • Experience in frontend (TypeScript, React) and backend (Python, Node.js) development testing strategies.
  • Experience developing and maintaining continuous integration and test pipeline tools (e.g., Docker, Jenkins).
