Senior Software Development Engineer in Test - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join our development team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products, with a particular focus on Typescript and API-first development.

In Short

• You will be an integral part of our Service Catalog team, working closely with developers.
• Contribute to pull requests and understand new features.
• Proactively address inefficiencies in the code.
• Design and implement solutions to technical problems.
• Support services in production by participating in an on-call rotation.
• Write automated tests to ensure code behavior and avoid regressions.
• Engage with team members to clarify questions when documentation is incomplete.
• Participate in additional tasks required by your manager.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in software development and testing.
• Expertise in Typescript and Javascript.
• Experience with Vue is a bonus.
• Experience developing and supporting a large-scale SaaS platform.
• Understanding of git and GitHub workflows.
• Functional testing experience including test strategy and test case design.
• Solid understanding of test frameworks and automation tools.
• Ability to prioritize testing activities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
