Senior Software Development Engineer in Test - Remote

In Short

• Join a newly created Quality Assurance team within the Dev Enablement Group.
• Collaborate with engineers and cross-functional teams to tackle complex testing challenges.
• Provide mentorship to junior engineers and advocate for quality best practices.
• Drive improvements in testing processes and methodologies.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks using industry-standard tools.
• Conduct performance, load, and stress tests to ensure system scalability.
• Analyze performance test results for optimization recommendations.
• Communicate test results and quality metrics to stakeholders.
• Champion quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Remote-friendly position.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in software development and/or test automation.
• Strong programming skills in Ruby/Ruby on Rails.
• Extensive experience with test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress).
• Deep understanding of CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., Jenkins).
• Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter).
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) is a plus.
• Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
