Overview

The Sales Manager is responsible for driving group room nights and catering revenue for Rio Las Vegas, managing a defined market and soliciting business through various strategies.

• Manage group room nights and catering revenue.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Solicit new group business through various channels.
• Meet or exceed sales quotas and revenue goals.
• Log customer activities and maintain communication.
• Negotiate contracts and respond to RFPs.

• Travel domestically and internationally as needed.

• Work in a home-office setup or on-site in Las Vegas.

Requirements

• Minimum five years of progressive hospitality sales experience.
• Ability to travel and work flexible hours.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent communication skills.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Experience with Envision and Delphi CRM preferred.
• Ability to qualify for necessary licenses and permits.
• Must be able to lift/move up to 10 pounds.
