DoorDash is seeking a talented Engineering Manager to lead our Supply Mobilization Experience team, responsible for ensuring Dashers are in the right place at the right time to meet demand efficiently.

• Build intelligent mobilization systems to ensure Dashers are optimally positioned to meet demand.
• Develop personalized incentives that drive Dasher engagement and efficiency.
• Leverage machine learning and real-time data to make predictive mobilization decisions.
• Define the platformization strategy for Supply Mobilization to create standardized experiences.
• Collaborate with Product, Operations, and Data Science teams to improve supply-demand balance.
• Lead, mentor, and scale a team of world-class engineers while fostering a culture of technical excellence and innovation.
• Ensure Dashers earn higher, more predictable incomes by reducing downtime and increasing overall efficiency.

Requirements

• BS, M.S., or PhD. in Computer Science or related field.
• 2+ years of engineering leadership experience managing backend, mobile & ML engineers.
• 7+ years of industry experience.
• Driven, focused, and quick to take ownership of your work.
• Impact driven with a strong product sense.
• Humble and open to feedback.
• Experience navigating ambiguous business problems and tackling high-scale technical challenges.
