IT Support Generalist - Remote

Overview

The IT Support Generalist will ensure a seamless technology experience for employees in a fully remote environment, providing technical support and managing IT systems.

In Short

• Provide Tier 1 & 2 technical support for IT-related issues.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network problems.
• Manage user accounts and assist with onboarding and off-boarding.
• Support macOS, Windows, and Linux operating systems.
• Ensure adherence to IT security policies.
• Develop and maintain IT documentation and training.
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Communicate technical concepts clearly to users.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in IT Helpdesk or technical support.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
• Experience with Google Workspace administration.
• Familiarity with IT ticketing systems.
• Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN).
• Strong customer service and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Excellent communication skills.
• IT certifications are a plus.
• Experience with scripting for automation is a bonus.
