Overview

The Regional Sales Manager at DWC is responsible for generating business opportunities with new prospects and existing customers within a defined territory by developing and maintaining long-term relationships. This role requires making successful contact with customers in order to properly position and sell the company’s suite of product and service offerings.

  • Achieve monthly sales goals by cultivating new and existing accounts.
  • Maximize daily efficiency using proprietary software.
  • Collaborate with marketing to convey the DWC brand.
  • Travel to customers to develop and grow relationships.
  • Book travel accommodations in a timely manner.
  • Create thorough call reports for Account Managers.
  • Provide reports on client satisfaction and expansion.
  • Develop strong relationships with key decision-makers.
  • Show consistent improvement in sales and client revenue growth.
  • Monitor and report on actions against plans.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or communication preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of sales experience, preferably in the electrical wire and cable industry.
  • Proven track record of successful sales experience.
  • Self-starter with ability to work autonomously.
  • Effective communicator capable of high-level customer interaction.
  • Proven ability to negotiate and close deals.
  • Excellent time and project management skills.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
  • Highly developed multi-tasking skills.
  • Ability to develop internal and external relationships.
