Overview

The Client Service Specialist is responsible for providing operational support to the Select client retention team, ensuring the renewal lifecycle is managed effectively while delivering excellent service to clients.

In Short

  • Provide renewal operational support to the client retention team.
  • Handle renewal lifecycle activities and client audit notifications.
  • Conduct account activity research and group benefit plan analysis.
  • Evaluate renewal plan premiums and propose alternative options.
  • Communicate effectively with external partners.
  • Maintain the client database and track communications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional departments.
  • Participate in company-required trainings and meetings.
  • Adhere to compliance guidelines and security procedures.
  • Embrace change and contribute to team synergy.

Requirements

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple complex tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
  • 2+ years of applicable job experience preferred.
  • Prior experience in a broker agency or benefit administration is a plus.
  • Familiarity with insurance carrier websites is preferred.
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • Health/Life License preferred.
  • Self-motivated and a strong team player.
