Overview

The Account Manager is responsible for managing a designated book of business, partnering closely with Benefits Consultants to ensure client satisfaction and operational efficiency in delivering employee benefits.

In Short

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of assigned client accounts.
  • Ensure timely and accurate delivery of service commitments.
  • Collaborate with internal teams for smooth execution of benefit programs.
  • Support open enrollment and renewal processes.
  • Track and manage plan changes and implementations.
  • Conduct post-renewal audits for accuracy and compliance.
  • Maintain accurate records in CRM and account management systems.
  • Work independently and as part of a team.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Adapt to changing client and industry needs.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of applicable job experience.
  • Current Life and Health license required.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required.
  • Familiarity with employee benefits and group insurance products.
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • Experience with CRM or benefits administration platforms is a plus.
