Senior Software Engineer - Production Support - Remote

Overview

As a Senior Engineer in our production environment team, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, performance, and evolution of systems trusted by some of the largest institutions in the U.S.

In Short

• Develop, maintain, and optimize applications and systems in a production environment using Java, Angular, JavaScript, and database technologies.
• Manage large-scale data integrations, ensuring seamless data flow.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues swiftly and independently.
• Proactively identify and address potential issues to ensure high availability, performance, and reliability of applications.
• Implement and maintain data security and integrity across production systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, write unit and integration tests, and uphold coding standards.
• Mentor junior engineers, leading by example in quality and communication.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in a senior engineering role, working with Java, database technologies, and frontend technologies like Angular and JavaScript.
• Strong expertise in data integrations, including file-based and API-based systems.
• A solid understanding of database design, optimization, and query performance.
• Hands-on experience with cloud-based infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure) and DevOps practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly resolve issues independently.
• Proficiency with version control systems like Git.
• A proven track record of thriving in fast-paced, high-pressure settings.
