Software Principal Engineer - Remote

Overview

The Software Engineering team delivers next-generation application enhancements and new products for a changing world. In Short

• Responsible for developing sophisticated systems and software based on customer business goals.
• Provides solutions for a range of complex problems.
• Authors and executes test cases and testing methodology for manual and/or automated tests.
• Adheres to cost, delivery, and quality targets during regression and testing phase.
• Strong conceptual ideas and experience in quality software engineering.
• Independently determines and develops approach to solutions.
• Ability to conduct manual testing independently on storage products and applications.
• Ability to create test plans, strategies, and execute them.
• Ability to code in Python and debug problems independently.
• Experience with storage area/system side: File Systems, NFS.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in software engineering.
• Strong ability to work in Linux OS environments (RHEL, SuSe, Fedora).
• End-to-end working knowledge of backup/storage applications.
• Cloud Computing experience (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Understanding of Jira and Confluence applications.
• Good understanding of Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes applications.
