Overview

The Chef is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operation of the kitchen in a remote camp, including ordering food ingredients, planning menus, and ensuring compliance with food safety protocols.

Requirements

• Journeyperson or interprovincial Red Seal Certificate preferred.
• Valid Safe Food certificate required.
• 10 years of experience in hospitality/food service as a Chef.
• Knowledge of menu costing and recipe implementation.
• Excellent practical skills in various kitchen areas.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to handle physical demands of the job.
