Overview

Thomson Reuters is hiring a .Net API Technical Support Engineer to provide second level support to internal stakeholders and 3rd party engineers regarding Thomson Reuters products and to interact with customers to resolve complex issues.

In Short

  • Provide engineering expertise on complex products.
  • Interface with product support and development groups.
  • Perform customer site break fix activities remotely.
  • Provide second level support for problem resolution.
  • Maintain awareness of technical and product trends.
  • Provide technical training to support teams and engineers.
  • Support pre-sales teams with demonstrations.
  • Deliver technology training to customers.
  • Work in a hybrid model with 2-3 days in the office.
  • Participate in project implementation teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree.
  • 4-6 years of experience.
  • Programming skills in .Net or Java.
  • Experience with developing or consuming REST APIs.
  • Understanding of API concepts and security patterns.
  • Experience with API tools like Postman and Swagger.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to learn new technologies.
