• Work closely with peers, product, design, and leadership to build features for the Deputy platform.
• Deliver software solutions that are resilient, high-performance, and scalable.
• Develop end-to-end solutions for front-end web applications and back-end services.
• Thoroughly test solutions, including writing automated tests.
• Collaborate with engineering and stakeholders to deliver complex problems.
• Write clean, efficient, self-documented, modular code.
• Investigate and debug issues within a bounded context.
• Coach junior team members across the entire SDLC.
• Engage in technical discussions for process improvement.

Requirements

• 3+ years of related work experience and high standards for quality.
• Customer-obsessed with a focus on delivering the best experience.
• Demonstrated track record of delivering high-quality, scalable software.
• Strong fundamentals in algorithms and data structures.
• Proficient in front-end (JavaScript, React/Vue) and back-end (PHP, Golang) development.
• Expertise in API design (REST & gRPC) and frameworks.
• Experience with service-oriented architecture and microservices.
• Familiar with database and caching mechanisms (MySQL, Redis, DynamoDB).
• Experience with responsive designs and reusable components.
• Build systems with monitoring and observability best practices.
