Demandbase is hiring a Staff Database Reliability Engineer (DBRE) to lead the evolution of our database infrastructure, ensuring real-time personalization and analytics for some of the world’s largest enterprise marketers.

In Short

• Own core database infrastructure.
• Design, operate, and scale AWS RDS (PostgreSQL/MySQL), DynamoDB, and BigQuery.
• Ensure performance, uptime, security, and cost-efficiency.
• Automate provisioning, backups, and schema changes.
• Use Python, Shell scripting, GitLab CI/CD, and Terraform.
• Collaborate with product and platform engineers.

Requirements

• Deep expertise with AWS RDS (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and DynamoDB.
• Strong experience with performance tuning and data security.
• Solid Linux skills and scripting experience.
• Hands-on with Terraform and CI/CD.
• Familiar with observability stacks.
• Experience leading teams.
• Clear communicator.
