Database Reliability Engineer - Remote

Overview

The HashiCorp DBRE team is responsible for maintaining and improving the reliability of HashiCorp’s databases across our cloud products, using a software-engineering-based approach typical of SRE teams.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional backend software development experience in cloud environments
• Experience with relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL
• Comfortable programming in modern languages
• Worked to operationalize complex software at scale
• Experience in customer-centric and agile organizations
• Empathy and compassion in teamwork
• Experience with SaaS or managed software offerings
• Ability to thrive in collaborative environments
• Enjoy working on diverse scopes spanning software engineering and operations
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
